
London: There was a lot of speculation about the role of Lashana Lynch in the Bond franchise, now that the actress herself has confirmed that her character is the next hero of the series and that it will take the story forward.
According to a report by Radio Times.com, the ‘Captain Marvel’ star revealed this news in an interview with Harpers Bazaar. She also spoke about the mistreatment done to him on online platforms.
She said, “I am a black woman – if there was another black woman playing this role, she would have been attacked like that too. I just have to remind myself that these things are happening because I am part of a revolutionary project.”
Lynch will replace actor Daniel Craig’s Bond character. Regarding her character Nomi in the franchise, she said, “I think there is a time in the script where black viewers will feel happy seeing reality.”
Lashana Lynch’s character Nomi is entering the franchise through the new James Bond film ‘No Time to Die’.
