UAE extends suspension of flights from India till June 30, due to Corona threat

Dubai: United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday extended suspension of passenger flights from India to 30 June in the wake of the Corona virus epidemic.

The flights were halted on 25 April following an increase in cases of Covid-19 in India.

In a message released on its website on Sunday, UAE airline provider Emirates said that it has extended the ban on passenger flights coming from India till June 30.

Earlier, a ban on passenger flights was announced until 14 June. At the same time, on Sunday, Saudi Arabia also approved passengers from 11 countries, except India and Pakistan, to travel to Saudi Arabia.
